DieEngCnc Pty Ltd has been around for over 20 years and its owner for even longer.
We started as Toolmakers building tooling for all aspects of industry from Car manufacturers Toyota and Holden to Mower companies and extrusion companies like Capral aluminium.
Toolmaking was the backbone of industry. Without tool makers, no product could get to market, No part could be fitted and assembled.
Then the birth of laser cutting arrived and with it the growing Chinese economy. The need for tooling became less and less, more tooling went off shore.
Now tooling is still needed but not to the scale it was before.
As the industry changes, many come and go but some like us have stood the test of time and industry change. Are still at the forefront of good quality tooling coupled with great experience and design.
As the industry recovers we find our skills are sort after again and our expertise put to other uses and into slightly different areas.
Toolmakers;
For so many years known as the people at the very top of their game and their industry have found their knowledge of metal process and parts manufacture a valued part of industry again.
Tooling forever known by car manufacturers as the way to produce parts at a competitive price has taken on another life. At least for Australia it seems. Smaller manufacturers normally off the radar of toolmakers are now reaping the benefits of production efficiencies.
